The 2023 Glenelm Snow Sculpture Challenge has a fun new twist, with a free snow sculpture workshop being held a couple weeks ahead of the challenge weekend.
New this year, we’ve got professional snow sculptor André Vrignon-Tessier coming to give a FREE workshop in Elmwood (Roxy) Park on January 15th, 2023. You may have already seen some of his work, as André has been sculpting for Festival du Voyageur for many years, and we are very happy to have him come out and teach us some useful snow carving skills! All are welcome to attend!
Then, put all this snow we’ve got to good use, and create your own snow or ice masterpiece in your front yard on Saturday, January 28th. All registered Glenelm sculptures will be entered into a draw for tons of participation prizes and our neighbourhood will be transformed into a snowy art gallery.
