Glenelm, start your engines!
Zip on down to the basement of The Big Red Church (127 Cobourg) at 2 pm on November 23rd for the inaugural Glenelm Mario Kart Tournament! You’ll be competing to win a limited edition blue Glenelm Mario Kart tee, created specially for this event. And when you’re not competing? Help yourself to some old Super Nintendo & Sega Genesis games (although we suspect you’ll be spending any free time practising to become the undisputed Mario Kart champ).

How do I participate in the tournament?
Complete this quick form here to let us your name (only first names needed!), an email address we can contact you at, and the division you’d like to register in (competitive or casual).
After registering, stop on by the church and get ready to crush (or be crushed?) by the competition.
How old can a participant be?
There is no age limit on either side for participants! Both young and old racers alike are welcome to participate in the tournament (though we might suggest being old enough to know how to use a controller).
How serious is this tournament?
Not serious at all! While we have some prizes including sweet new Mario Kart Glenelm shirts, mostly what’s up for grabs is neighbourhood bragging rights.
When can I register until?
We will be taking registrations until Wednesday, November 20th.
Will there be other things to do while we wait?
For sure! Whether you’re waiting until your turn or just want to hang out and try something new, we will have some other, classic video games on hand for you to enjoy. Or, if video games aren’t your thing, you can enjoy some small snacks and visit with your neighbours.
