Glenelm Art Show

Last year we took the opportunity to jump into fall with our first annual Kids Art Show. This year, on June 22nd, we celebrate the beginning of summer with an All Ages Art Show hosted by our friends (and new neighbours) at Next Door Neighbour Studio (232-1 Henderson Hwy.)

Glenelm is teeming with creatives and artists, and we are excited to have an opportunity to show off some of that art to all of our community. To allow us to best prepare, please take a look through the questions below and use the form at the bottom of this page to pre-register.

Not an artist, or just want to stop by to check out the work? We will be set up from 2:00-5:00 with light refreshments for you to stop and admire the work of your neighbours.

Happy Arting!

How old can a participant be?

While we are not setting any age requirements, we plan to continue our kids art show in the fall and are excited to show off the work of the adults around the neighbourhood.

How many pieces of art can a participant submit?

While we’re hoping for some pretty excited artists, we are asking you to limit your work to just one submission so that we can guarantee to display everything.

What form can my art be?

Any form of art is allowed. Items such as paintings or drawings will be hung, but we will have tables available to display other forms of art.

How big can my art be?

Due to the size limitations and setup of Next Door Neighbour Studio, we are looking for smaller pieces of art. If you have a question about a larger sizes piece, don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email or the contact form below.

Can I sell my artwork?

While we are not taking part in selling of art, artists are more than welcome to stay and mingle with each other and sell them independently if they wish.

When can I submit art until?

The cutoff date for entering a piece of art (i.e. submitting the above form) is June 17th. This allows us time to gather the items for submission.

How do I participate?

  1. Complete this quick form below to let us your name (only first names needed!), an email address we can contact you at, and the art you want to create.
  2. We will contact you closer to the date with instructions on delivery or pick-up. When we pick up your piece, try giving it a name so we can attach a label to your work.
  3. Stop on by the church to see your hard work (and the hard work of others).
