Dutch Elm Disease Protection in Glenelm

Here is a list of public trees that our long-time partner arborist Green Drop has assessed as being good candidates for Arbotect injections as of August 2024, along with a rough cost.

As you can see, treatment isn’t inexpensive, but it does last for three years. It can be seen as a good investment into your home (and the neighbourhood, of course!). Keeping a shade tree like an American elm alive helps lower home heating and cooling costs.

If there’s a tree on this list, or elms on private property that you’re interested in protecting, or you have any questions about Arbotect, please contact Green Drop directly. They will explain the process and arrange for permission from the city to do the injections.

You can reach Green Drop arborist Simon Peacock at 204.771.7531 or speacock@greendrop.com.
