New Transit Options for Glenelm

Calling all Transit users!

On June 29, 2025, the Primary Transit Network and its feeder routes will replace our current transit system. That means all new routes, new stops, and new destinations. According to Winnipeg Transit, the new network will be more frequent, direct, connected, and simplified. You can see the new system map at https://www.winnipeg.ca/primarytransitnetwork

What’s changing for us in Glenelm?

  • We will keep our convenient service to downtown with the F8 route, which travels along Henderson and into downtown, then all the way to U of M. This partially replaces the #11. This means you can get to both Canada Life Centre and Princess Auto Stadium on a single ride.
  • Heading east-west, the 38 route will run through our neck of the woods along Hespeler/Henderson/Johnson, travelling between Kildonan Place and Garden City Shopping Center.

Some current bus stops will be eliminated with the new system, so be sure to check out the transitional signage at your current stops to find out what changes may be happening. Here’s a quick look at the new distribution of bus stops in Glenelm.

You can now look up stop schedules and plan trips for the new network using Navigo. Winnipeg Transit asks for our cooperation: if you are seeing an unexpected or strange Navigo result, please report it to 311. If possible, take a screenshot. Your feedback will help improve this service for everyone.
