Elmwood Community Tree Care & Sale Event

A special invitation for Elmwood residents from Trees Winnipeg!

Trees Winnipeg is hosting a free, 30-minute community presentation for Elmwood residents on proper tree planting and tree care techniques. 

Those who attend the presentation can order a variety of trees for $15 each, (retail value approximately $75). Trees ordered at the presentation will be available the following week for pick-up.The location of the presentation and sale is the Holy Eucharist Parish Centre, 460 Munroe Avenue, Winnipeg.

And the movie is…. The Super Mario Bros Movie!

The big screen will be coming to Roxy (Elmwood) Park on Saturday, September 2nd! Come out and enjoy one of the last nights of summer to see a family movie on a giant 29-foot screen….we’ll even have free popcorn and drinks and glow-in-the-dark tattoos (while supplies last)!

You voted, and the winning title is… Super Mario Bros Movie!  (Poll results: Super Mario Bros – 40%, Sing 2 – 15%, Strange World –  15%, Lightyear – 15%, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish – 15%)

The movie will begin at sunset, approx 8:15pm, so bring your own bowl for popcorn, lawn chairs and/or cozy blankets, bug spray, and stake out your viewing spot before then. 

Park bathrooms will be open.
