Ever had the pleasant surprise of stumbling upon a work of art when you least expected it? Glenelm is full of hidden masterpieces! On this informal walking tour, we will show you some of the best-known pieces of art in the neighbourhood, and some you’ve probably never noticed.
Join us on Sunday, June 5th at 2pm at the Big Red Church (127 Cobourg Ave). The walk will last about an hour, and afterwards, everyone will be invited to participate in a collaborative art project led by a local artist!
Everyone in the neighbourhood is invited to participate in “Glenelm Garage Sale Day” on June 18th, from 9am to 3pm.
No registration needed – do your own thing – whether that’s setting up on your lawn or in your garage. We will put putting up signs and advertise through social media, but feel free to help spread the word!
There’s something for everyone at this event! Come and join us on Saturday, May 21st from 10am to 2pm at the Big Red Chuch, 127 Cobourg Ave.

Now that the snow is finally gone, let’s spruce up our neighbourhood with a spring cleanup!
On Monday, May 23, 2022, meet at the Big Red Church (127 Cobourg Ave) at 1pm – we’ll give you supplies and you’ll sign up for a street, alley or park to tackle.

New to the Sweets & Seeds event this year is a “made in Glenelm” market! Here is a sneak peek at some of the Glenelm neighbours who will be selling their wares at Sweets & Seeds on May 21.
Candace Propp Jewellery: Jewellery made with sea glass, rocks, wood and other natural elements.
Chef Karen Peters: Biscotti, hummus and other delicacies.
It’s Time to Ride upCYCLED Decor (Jason White): Clocks, lamps, coat hooks, wall sconces out of old bicycle parts and reclaimed wood – usually old pallets.
Green Porch Vintage (Ramona Pauls): Upcycled vintage clothing and items.
Prairie Girl Knits (Jamie Skinner): Hand-knit coffee cup cozies and hand-knit reusable water balloons.
Salt Box Vintage (Jackie van Leeuwen): All kinds of vintage items, from suitcases to basket lamps to doll furniture, etc.
Savoir Faire Market Place (Deborah Wazny): Barn board items such as frames, chalk and magnet boards, bird houses & feeders, as well as wool items (mitts, headbands and leg warmers).
