It’s almost that time of year again — on Saturday, January 29th, 2022, let’s all bundle up, get outside and participate in GeNA’s annual Snow Sculpture Challenge!
Last year, we had 44 entries, and given that 2022 is our 5th anniversary event, let’s make it a big one!
Given the ongoing realities of a worldwide pandemic, this is one event which can still safely take place “in real life”. Since everyone sculpts from their own front yard, no gatherings are necessary!
In addition, it provides an opportunity for neighbours to view all of the lovely sculptures, providing a much-needed excuse to get outside and take that walk for your mental and physical health.
So show us your best snow creations! All ages and skill levels are encouraged, and there are dozens of chances for you to win a prize just by participating! Plus, it’ll be lots of fun, we promise!
Get all the details at glenelm.ca/snow — including tips, FAQs and the registration form!
Thanks to our generous sponsors
This event could not happen without the generous support of our business neighbours. We would like to warmly thank them for their ongoing commitment to the community, and ask you to please show them your support in return.
Ever wanted to know more about powers of attorney and healthcare directives? How to protect yourself against financial scams? How to spot the signs of elder abuse?
GeNA is pleased to be teaming up with the Community Legal Education Association to present a Zoom presentation on seniors’ rights. See the poster below for more details. This session is open to everyone, not just seniors or folks who live in Glenelm.
